The service

Cardodex is an app for Pokemon, One Piece, Riftbound and Magic card collectors: a catalog, price estimates, collection management, card scanning, help preparing sale listings, and a community space. It can be used for free; some features are reserved for Collector and Master subscribers.

Your account

You must give a valid email address and your real date of birth. If you are under 15, you need the permission of one of your parents, and your profile stays private.

Your account is personal. Keep your password to yourself: anything done from your account is deemed to be done by you. If you think someone has access to it, change your password and let us know.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

The community

Your username, bio and listings must stay decent: no insults, hate speech, sexual content, scams, links or email addresses, and no impersonating another person or Cardodex.

No cheating: no fake accounts, no organized like trading, no bots.

You can report or block a collector. We may hide content, remove a profile from the leaderboard, or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Sales between collectors

Cardodex helps you prepare your listings and track your sales, but does not sell anything for you: sales are made elsewhere (Vinted, Cardmarket, eBay…), directly between buyer and seller. Cardodex is not a party to these sales and guarantees neither the cards, nor the payments, nor the shipping. You remain responsible for your listings and for following the rules of the site where you sell.

Prices and analyses

The prices shown are estimates calculated from public data (notably the Cardmarket price guide), updated regularly. They are not purchase offers or value guarantees: always check the market before buying or selling.

Card recognition by scan can be wrong: check the suggested card before adding it.

The Eye gives a pre-assessment of a card's condition from photos. It is not an official grade and does not replace grading by a specialized company.

Subscriptions

Collector and Master subscriptions are monthly or yearly, paid in advance and renewed automatically. Their price and content are shown on the Offers page and in the app at the time of purchase.

You can cancel at any time: the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid, then is not renewed. On the web, you cancel in the app (Subscription, “Manage my subscription”); a subscription taken in the App Store or Google Play is managed in your phone's settings, under Apple's or Google's rules.

A subscription taken on the web can be canceled within 14 days of purchase: write to us at contact@cardodex.app and we will refund you.

Some features have a reasonable usage limit, shown in the app (for example the number of The Eye analyses per month).

Ownership

The names, logos, artwork and images of the card games belong to their publishers (The Pokémon Company, Bandai, Riot Games, Wizards of the Coast…). Cardodex is not affiliated with any of them; they are shown only to identify the cards.

The app, its code, its name and its logo belong to Cardodex. What you write in the app remains yours; you only allow us to display it according to the visibility settings you choose.

Liability

We do our best to keep Cardodex working well and its information accurate, but the app may experience interruptions or contain errors. We cannot be held responsible for a buying or selling decision made based on a displayed price, nor for data loss caused by a device (scan photos are kept on your phone).

Shop

Purchases in the Cardodex shop, once it opens, will be governed by separate terms of sale.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the new version is published here with its date, and we let you know about any significant change. They are governed by French law.
